Have you ever witnessed the magical phenomenon of ‘bubbles within bubbles’? Just like Russian nesting dolls, large bubbles envelop smaller ones, crystal clear and shimmering with rainbow-like hues under the sunlight! This isn’t magic—it’s the perfect fusion of science and skill! Today, we’ll teach you how to easily achieve this magical “big bubble inside a small bubble” effect, making kids scream with joy and friends marvel in amazement!
1️⃣ Step 1: Blow a large bubble
Dip the bubble wand into the bubble solution, then gently swirl it to form a complete large bubble.
Key technique: Move slowly to ensure the bubble membrane forms evenly and stabilises.
2️⃣ Step 2: Blow a small bubble
Gently blow into the large bubble to form a small bubble inside it!
Advanced play: You can continue to blow multiple small bubbles inside the large bubble to create a ‘bubble universe’!
Science Fun Fact (for added fun)Why can bubbles ‘nest’ inside each other?
Surface tension: The detergent and glycerin in the bubble solution enhance the bubble membrane's elasticity, making the large bubble sturdy enough to support the smaller bubbles inside.
Pressure balance: When blowing through the straw, the pressure from the small bubble is evenly distributed by the large bubble's membrane, preventing it from bursting easily.
